Twelve Wealth proudly sponsors the Work Week Challenge

Twelve Wealth Management is proud to sponsor the Work Week Challenge—seven marathons across seven disciplines for seven charities in seven days. This one-of-a-kind endurance event blends multi-discipline fitness, adventure, and resilience on a grand scale, set against the stunning landscapes of the American Southwest.

A Mission Rooted in Hard Work

Work Week was founded on the belief that hard work is the catalyst for change. That’s why we’re raising money for charities close to the hearts of our athletes while supporting the communities where we train and compete. Our team, made up of friends from across the U.S. and U.K., shares a passion for fitness, adventure, and pushing the limits of human endurance.

Founder Ricky Bowry shares his vision:

“I believe in the transformative power of fitness and outdoor adventure to drive personal and global change. Hard work builds resilience, inspires bigger dreams, and unlocks potential in all aspects of life.
Work Week offers an opportunity to channel that drive into something both productive and meaningful. With my expertise in fitness, marketing, and business, I’m committed to transforming Work Week from a passion project into a leader in the sports event industry. Together, we’ll create an unforgettable partnership that celebrates endurance, adventure, and giving back.”

The Challenge

Each day presents a gruelling test of physical and mental endurance, set against some of the most breath-taking and demanding landscapes in Utah and Arizona.

  • Day 1: Ski Marathon (Park City, Utah) – Participants acclimate to high-altitude conditions and sub-zero temperatures, covering 26.2 miles of high-speed skiing in the mountains.
  • Day 2: 100-Mile Road Bike Ride (Bryce Canyon, Utah) – Cyclists battle steep 14% climbs, endless stretches of road, and lower back fatigue.
  • Day 3: Kayak Marathon (Lake Powell, Arizona) – A test of upper body endurance, as athletes paddle 26.2 miles through slot canyons and open waters, fighting grip strain and paddle blisters.
  • Day 4: 50-Mile Mountain Bike Ride (Glen Canyon, Utah) – Unpredictable gravel trails lead competitors into some of the most remote terrain, requiring intense focus and stamina.
  • Day 5: Paddle Board Marathon (Colorado River) – Athletes must balance for 26.2 miles, braving freezing water temperatures and muscle fatigue
  • Day 6: Grand Canyon Trail Run – A full marathon at high altitude, where runners must carry their gear and endure punishing elevation gains.
  • Day 7: Grand Canyon Ultra Hike – The ultimate test: a 26.2-mile trek, including a brutal 12-mile ascent to the summit, compounded by six days of accumulated fatigue.

Supporting Seven Charities

Work Week 2025 dedicates each day’s marathon to a different charity, raising awareness for causes that matter to our athletes and the communities we serve. Funds raised will be evenly distributed among all seven organisations, ensuring each receives meaningful support.
This is more than just a challenge—it’s a testament to the power of perseverance, adventure, and giving back.
